Welcome to the Universal Trope page for Missing Muse.

Now, you probably have a few questions. "What do you mean by Universal?" "Why does this merit a whole thread?" "Just what is a trope, anyway?" Well, let me break this down for you.

Tropes, in a nutshell, are literary devices seen over and over again in media- media being books, movies, video games, plays, ect. They are motifs and trends that can be seen and used many times in different works of media to increase the power and enjoyability of the work.
Pretty much, if it exists and has a storyline, there will be at least one Trope for it.
Which is why this page exists.

This is a fun little page created solely for pointing out and appreciating the tropes in our own little roleplays and works of literature that we ourselves may not even notice. It's a fun, interesting little look at our works- and makes for a good laugh now and again.

If this is the first you have ever heard of tropes, I suggest you click the picture at the top and take a look for yourself-- it will make much more sense for you, that way. But be warned friends: troping is addicting. <3


This page will contain lists of tropes for nearly every roleplay or story as we come to them. There is no set order, and we are mostly doing this for fun- so please no pressuring us to get to certain roleplays or stories. We'll get there when we get there. Feel free to point some out, should you come across them in your reading endeavors, and I will add them when I get a chance.

Roleplay Tropes

Mabinogi Roleplay/"If Only...":

• Action Girl- Kina and Con are both good candidates, though with Con a bit more able than Kina, in the latter's current state.
  

• Attention Deficit....Ooh, Shiny!- Honestly Kou? It's rather hard to forget about a elf who's close to death that you just put down.
  

  Spoiler:

• Annoying Arrows- Inverted hard. The elves are natural archers- and the arrows pack enough punch to take down enemies ten times the size of an elf- or even a normal human.
  

• B.F.S- Kou's Obsidian Sword.
  

• Big Damn Heroes- Both Ari and Kou count- however it's more played with in Ari's case, while Kou's is played straight.
